Comments: Thank you Yankee Chihuahuas for all the work you do! There are far too many people "buying" Chi's and then dumping them when they are bored or frustrated.
We rescued a long haired Chi 4 years ago....she is 7 or 8 years old and we have finally convinced her that she is loved and safe.
We are hoping to adopt a brother or sister Chi to give her someone her own size to play with. Her younger sister is a 4 year old Retriever mix and doesn't like to play with her.
We were very excited by your web site and the pictures of your Chi's looking for a home. We are looking forward to possibly working with you towards an adoption.
Again, thanks for the wonderful work you do.

Comments: Hi its been almost a year since we got Honey see her in the 2008 adoption list. We love her sooo much!!!! Honey has taken to the kids my youngest child Emily the most. When the kids go outside or leave to go to school Honey will cry, when Emily comes back inside Honey will jump all over her and kiss Emily all over. I wouldn't trade her for nothing. Thank you Chihuahua rescue, maybe in the future we are thinking about getting another chihuahua for honey to play with.
Admin reply: Honey is one very special girl. Just the perfect match of Emily

Comments: Hi-just wanted to update you all on Coco-he is doing GREAT with our family, we can't imagine a dog that is cuter or more fun! It was a long wait-but worth it. I feel that you all really took the time to find a dog that would fit with our crazy family-and a family to fit with a very sweet, energetic dog!

Comments: We lost our female chihuahua at the end of January to melanotic melanoma. We purchased her from a rescue in Morrisville at 6 y.o. She brought us such joy and love for almost three years before she passed away. We are ready for a new chihuahua female and would prefer a young one, maybe a year/two old. It would be great if it went outside to do its business like Precious used to. I have fibromyalgia and I desperately need a friend or two up here. We'd be happy to drive and meet someone part way. I think you all have our application already. Please help me find a new friend, I've been suffering in pain for 17 years plus. Thanks, Tonia

We are blessed to have found him thanks to you! I always check your website to see the dogs looking for forever homes! We hope to adopt another Chi shortly!
