I got my "Cara Mia" at YCR about seven years ago. She is very sweet, and now at fifteen, is still going strong.
I also fostered a fifteen year old female chi, that was given to a humane socity in Boston. YCR called me as Tia was to be put down the next day. I have NEVER spent a more joyful three years then I had with Tia. She passed over December 9th, 2009 at eighteen years old, wrapped in her blanket, and rocked in my arms for three and a half hours.

I love you guys.....I adopted my Brooklyn girl from Yankee Chi rescue!!! She is the best little girl, she hardly ever barks, she loves everyone big, small, old, young, human or animal!!! If you every plan on getting a dog I suggest you do you research and start with a rescue. I think I made the very best choice in not only going to you guys, but also in picking my baby girl!!!!!!!

I was not sure if i wanted a Chi as you know they don't have great reputations.But I was proven wrong. I got my littleboy from a very reputable breeder who trained me in being and owner. And she was right if you train them well they will not be a yappy,ankle biter. My Little Mr. Sugar "Babe" is a cuddle bug who just wants to snuggle and be loved and is very sociable. I am glad to see that people like you are out there saving these little love bugs they truly deserve to be treated with great care.

We recently adopted Brock, now called Kubus (pronounced Kooboosh) he has joined our home with our two other Chi's and has made a wonderful addition. He is very smart, and pretends to be a one lady man, but really loves attention from all ladies
